Amman
Amman is the capital and largest city of Jordan. It is the administrative, cultural and commercial centre for Jordan. It is one of the oldest ever inhabited cities in the world. Amman is a city with good communication, transportation, medical facilities, education and investments.
Population of Amman
Amman, Jordan is a town located 730 metres above the sea level. This is a town located near the river Jordan and has a population density of 1,275,000 according to the last census survey.
Tourism in Amman
Much of the tourism attraction centre in Amman is focused in the old downtown area which involves the old colourful traditional market and the king Hussein Mosque. The city has beautiful sceneries like the museums, ancient construction, monuments and cultural centres.
The city houses one of the best airports in the middle-east region. This makes the city the major tourist gateway into Jordan as most of the country’s foreign tourists arrive in Jordan through Amman. Some of the best tourist attraction things in Amman include the citadel which is the worthiest cultural sight in Amman where people can easily watch the roman theatre and the Arab tower hotel.
The Abu Darwish Mosque is another major tourist attraction. This is a mosque painted black and white built in 1961 by king Hussein of Jordan.
The National Archaeological museum is another attraction centre that has attracted so many foreigners to Jordan. This museum contains the old remains of material and people.
Owning property in Amman
Amman is a city governed by the rules set by the city council. Owning any property in the city of Amman requires one to comply with the rules of the local authority. Many investors have come into this city and invested in owning properties. The city has room for expansion hence it has attracted many foreign investors who have built industries and factories. This has been a good source of employment to many.
The city is well provided with good infrastructure hence many people have been interested in investing in this city. People have bought pieces of land and invested in houses and other structures that they rent out.
Due to the large population in the city, the products manufactured from these factories have been able to find market. The large population has acted as a good market for the manufactured goods. Many investors have put their money in the transport sector by buying vehicles that has improved the movement of people and goods.
